Genesis
Before 55+1 kilometers of artwork can stretch across borders, there must be first conversations, sketches, meetings, and small acts of belief. The blank canvas is difficult, but it is also an incredible space for opportunity. GAAB is an easily shareable reflection of what happens when a continent decides to create its own narrative.
For centuries, African creativity has been woven into the fabric of daily survival, celebration, and community. Creativity is not a luxury or a mere accessory to development; it is the framework through which societies imagine a better tomorrow. GAAB acts as a structural bridge, intentionally tying artistic expression to tangible real-world outcomes:
- Healing: Processing collective narratives and reclaiming historical identity
- Education: Cultivating critical thinking and visual literacy across generations
- Enterprise: Building a sustainable creative economy that honors local talent
A monumental task is simply an accumulation of small, deliberate steps. The massive scale of this project is driven by individual pioneers who chose to believe in the impossible early on

Africa! Make Your Dream Visible
